Pali Wine Co: A Tribute to “Home Sweet Home”

paliwThere is a faint hint of salt in the breeze, the distinct cry of gulls overhead and the sunny glint of sunshine off crystal blue water, all a signature of the Southern California coastline.

Tucked neatly between Brentwood, Santa Monica, and Malibu is the residential community of Pacific Palisades, the hometown of Pali Wine Co. founders, Tim Peer and Scott Knight.

Taking that love of all things home, the two pay homage in a distinctive series of Cuvee wines defined by their appellation of origin and named after the familiar stomping grounds in their Pacific Palisades neighborhood. Thus Tower 15 Winery was born.

With names like “The Swell”, “The Jetty” and Tower 15 “Albarino”, they are launching wines that match perfectly with a sizzling grilled Santa Maria Tri tip, or angus burger piled high with ripe, delicious California avocado. “We have yet to roll these wines out,” says Marketing Director Stacey Rosser. “We’ve shown them to some of our distributors and they’ve really liked them.”

The two labels produced by Labeltronix, 2012 “The Swell”, and 2012 “The Jetty” were part of that new launch, and as Rosser points out “a great likeness to what the designer proposed.” She was very pleased with the end results. “I would recommend Labeltronix to other wineries, for sure. They are definitely a good option, at a good price.”
